  1. Cut 250 grams of oncom into four pieces. In a bowl, mix 1 tsp coriander powder, 1 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tbsp garlic powder, 1 tsp salt, and 1 tsp mushroom bouillon then add water mix it till all dry ingredients incorporate.

  2. Now dip the oncom into water mixture and slighty gentle press to remove the excess water.

  3. With the same bowl combine 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 1/2 cup of rice flour and an egg. Whisk until you get smooth batter. 

  4. Add chopped green onion into the batter and dip each piece of seasoned oncom into the batter, ensuring an even coating. 

  5. Heat oil in a pan and carefully fry the battered oncom pieces until they turn golden brown and achieve a satisfying crunch.
